– ALFRESCO CARAVAN –

[ IT ALL STARTED WHEN ]

Stefano was dreaming of a catering trailer....but wanted something a bit different! Having always enjoyed manual projects, he started keeping an eye on what was available and found a 1973 Viking Fibreline in Nottingham which required restoring.

Once it was here he started the restoration, sporadically for the first couple of years, whilst also slowly sourcing the kitchen items. Then in January 2017, he started in earnest with no building plans or spare parts available, constructing full sections from scratch and learning so many new skills such as spray-painting. We wanted it to be ready for a wedding at the beginning of June 2017 and thankfully it was:  Anthony & Bianca Williams were delighted as they were so keen to have it as part of their wedding having seen pictures of it in March! 

We have now called the kitchen caravan “Alfresco Caravan” and we look forward to taking it all over the country to festivals and events. The Alfresco Caravan is fully equipped with fridge, oven, hobs, griddle plate, pasta boiler & fryer – it will also be fully solar-powered in the very near future.
